[ARCHIVED] Biennial Affidavit Deadline Extended

All owners of deed restricted properties must complete and sign a Re-qualification Affidavit on a biennial basis.


If you haven’t already, please complete your biennial affidavit. The original deadline was October 31st, but we’ve extended it to November 22, 2017. To complete the Affidavit, stop in our office or complete and submit electronically.


As a reminder, deed-restricted owners are required to complete affidavits every two years, including owners at North 40, Aspen Village, Lazy Glen and Smuggler Park Subdivision. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete.


Failure to return this form or any subsequent compliance requests will result in a Notice of Violation at which point the appreciation on your home will be suspended until you either 1) sign the form; or 2) list the property for sale.


APCHA also would like to remind homeowners that they may rent bedrooms to roommates only if permitted by their deed restriction or condominium declaration. Rates must be prorated according to the maximum rental rate applicable to the unit category and size. However, roommates must qualify through APCHA by completing a rental packet. Under no circumstances shall the unit be used as an income producing asset by either renting to non-qualified individuals (e.g. visitors, guests, etc.) or renting on a short-term basis through VRBO, Airbnb, or equivalent.
