- Occupancy: Two-bedroom units require a minimum of 2 occupants, while studios and one-bedroom units have a maximum occupancy of 2 people.
- Priority: Given to applicants with the longest verified consecutive full-time employment in Pitkin County, proven with W-2s and 1099s; self-employed applicants must provide tax returns, Profit & Loss statements, and other relevant business records.
- Work Requirements: Full-time employment (at least 1,500 hours per calendar year) in Pitkin County; use the APCHA unit as a primary residence for at least nine months per year; no ownership of other developed residential property within the Ownership Exclusion Zone (OEZ).
- Income Requirements: Applicants must meet specific income limits. Please refer to the Income Chart on page 5 of the APCHA Employee Housing Regulations. Click here to access the chart.
Documentation Required to prove Full-Time Employment: If you don’t have a verified start date with APCHA, upload copies of all W-2s or 1099s showing your full-time consecutive work history in Pitkin County.
