The AABC Rowhouses are located at the Aspen Airport Business Center at 319 AABC. The units were constructed in 1980 to accommodate businesses and residences. The initial units had commercial space on the main level with the residential unit located on the second level. The condominiumization of the 12 rowhouses was approved by the Board of County Commissioners under Resolution Number 78-125 and finalized under Resolution Number 79-161. The resolutions require the following:
- Units shall be the primary residence of the owner.
- Six-month minimum leases are required.
- The occupancy in the project shall be limited to employers and employees in Pitkin County.
- Employees and employers shall be defined as those persons who have resided and been employed in Pitkin County during the two-year period immediately prior to their occupancy on the premises and continue to be employed for a minimum of ten months out of the year.
- The Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority (APCHA) must verify the same at the transfer of each ownership.
- Any amendments MUST be approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).
