Notice of Public Hearing on APCHA Guidelines Changes
APCHA held a first reading, on June 7th, and a public hearing on June 21 regarding changes to Category income limits for all ownership and rental categories. They were approved at the APCHA Board meeting held June 21. Visit the Housing Board page to access the pertaining Board packet and agenda.
In preparation for the new APCHA website late summer, APCHA request all HOAs to provide current information on their HOA. Requested information includes current board members and board member contact info (phone number and email). Effective May 24th, 2017, APCHA has adopted new asset restrictions to amend the Aspen/ Pitkin County Employee Housing Guidelines. The approved amendments adopt a rationale for having Asset Caps, introduce a new methodology for establishing Category Asset Caps, increase the current Asset Caps for all Categories using the new methodology, and remove the Excess Assets Converted to Income policy from the Aspen/ Pitkin County Employee Housing Guidelines.
